EA a publié un trailer de gameplay de FUT 20 présentant certaines des nouvelles fonctionnalités intégrées à la série.

Ils comprennent des pièces arrêtées retravaillées, une nouvelle physique de la balle et des «1v1 dynamiques» en attaque, où les joueurs disposent d’un contrôle accru, et en défense, où les joueurs peuvent revendiquer la possession du ballon avec «un toucher actif».
